Responsibility
As a company, we feel a responsibility towards our shared planet and actively work to reduce our carbon footprint through various initiatives.
We believe that all efforts, big or small, are important in the overall equation. We all have to start somewhere. Below, you can see what we, as a company, do to reduce our carbon footprint.
Packaging
Currently, we are working on our packaging, aiming to eliminate all plastic from our packaging.
The items that were previously packed in plastic will now be packed in biodegradable bags.
Additionally, we use brown paper for our products with minimal printing on the boxes, moving away from full-color printing. As a result, you will experience a completely different look when you see a box with a lamp from ANTIDARK in the future.
Code of Conduct
We have requirements for our production and ensure that our suppliers adhere to our Code of Conduct.
In addition to defining ethical principles and guidelines to ensure that our production aligns with the law and respects human rights, our Code of Conduct promotes environmental awareness by establishing guidelines for environmental considerations.
Environmental Surcharge
As a company, we face increasing requirements and additional charges to contribute to environmental protection.
There have been additional charges imposed on freight, affecting our shipping partners, which ultimately impact us. In this way, we also contribute through freight surcharges. We have implemented a small environmental surcharge of 0.4% on our received orders to cover a portion of these costs.

Sustainable Development Goal 3 - Good health and well-being
Light has a documented effect on our well-being and overall health. It’s not just a minor effect, but rather a significant impact.
When we are exposed to the right light throughout the day, our brain produces a range of hormones that create a balance in appetite, sleep, and overall well-being.
As lighting experts, we possess knowledge and experience on how to create the right illumination for different spaces and situations. Particularly in office environments, the proper lighting is crucial and can counteract discomfort such as headaches and fatigue, which can have a negative effect on productivity and work performance.

Sustainable Development Goal 7 - Affordable and clean energy

Save Energy with LED
LED lighting is far more energy-efficient than traditional light sources. It allows for saving on electricity bills while also reducing the emission of CO2.
In our lamps with integrated lighting, we use LED as the light source.
We constantly work towards optimizing our light sources to consume lower wattage while still providing the same level of brightness.
Sustainable Development Goal 12 - Responsible consumption and production
Extend the Lifespan of Products
In our design phase, we place great emphasis on creating high-quality lamps with long durability that can also be part of a circular process. We achieve this by designing lamps that can be easily disassembled, allowing for individual components to be replaced or reused.
In our lamps with integrated LEDs, the design is made in such a way that the chip and driver can be replaced at the end of their lifespan.
As a new initiative, we offer a service agreement where, after 5 years, we replace the chip and driver in lamps with integrated LEDs for project lighting. It is important to us that our lamps have the longest possible lifespan to minimize resource waste.
